Loving the new cut!

Me rocking my new cut!

New cut flat ironed. Be careful with this one. I lost 7 locks because I got the irons too hot and I had just dyed my hair. I would not recommend this for everyone. The last 3 post were taken appoximately 2 months ago. My hair is just now getting back healthy. Although I love the color I will say that it changes my texture dramatically!!!! It was also very dry. I conditioned it with sisterlock moisture treatment under the dryer after washes and spritzed it with 1/2 moisturizer treatment and 1/2 water everyday at least twice a day to get it back to feeling softer. Althought this look gave me a little trouble it was slamming. My hair was swinging and swaying. Women were looking and asking what was it I had in my hair. I politely told them Sisterlocks, and then just giggled to myself. Good thing is after a wash I was back to something totally different. That is what I love about sister locks, they are so versatile

Curls with my new cut. I just sprayed it with a mix of water and oil and rolled it with sponge rollers and sat under the dryer for about an hour. Since the cut maintenance and styling has been so much quicker! :-)

Free Styling with my new cut! And new highlights!!

My friends 10yr old locks

My locked friend. She has been growning her locks for 10 years. They are so soft and beautiful!!!

My Creation

I got tired of all my hair hanging on my back nad neck. So I grabbed a good portion of my hair and I twisted like I was wringing it out. I kept twisting until I reached the bottom. Then I twirled it around its self and pinned it with bobbie pins. It only took about 5-6 bobbie pins. I purposly put it to the side to give it some flare. After I was done I liked it. It took some of the hair off my back and it was cute! As you can see I still had quite a bit of hair still hanging down though. My Bun was huge but cute. LOL I created this in about 5 min. I do my best work when I don't think about it and just do it.

This is a braid out I did around October of 2011. I never braid my hair right after washing. I wait until it is completely dry then I spray it with water as I braid because it cuts down on the drying time. I only use water for braid outs. With this braid out I braided my hair fairly large to get a more wavy look
