Lint, My Favorite Throw & Sisterlocks

Well, I have a bit of a dilemma. I have a throw that I absolutely love. It is so soft and keeps you warm but not too hot. Everyday after a long day at work and school I curl up with it and read or look at TV right before I go to sleep. But to my dismay I was informed by my consultant that it leaves red lint in my locks! I had not noticed before, but after she told me I started to notice the red lint.

What is a girl to do. I mean look how comfy I look. I have become quite fond of this throw. To the point my family teases me. I don't care about their little comments, but I do care about my Sisterlocks! I just had to blog about this cause I needed to get it off my chest and it involved my Sisterlocks. My choice is this, either I am going to have to renounce my favorite throw or wear one of those hideous non sexy bonnets to bed. Sexy for the DH is very important. looks like good bye comfy throw :'-( Hey maybe I will be able to find a black one!!! Thanks for listening.

Until next time.....keep smiling

I don't think you need to get rid of it...just wear a bonnet when you're relaxing underneath it. When you go to bed you can take it off... Unless you're taking the blanket with you to bed...??

Girl I carry that thing everywhere. Our family room is in the basement and it is cool down there so I am always wrapped up in it. And yes sometimes I do fall asleep with it in the bed. No worries, although I love it, the red lint has to go so I am on a mission to find a black one. :-)

PS I can not stand bonnets they are so frumpy to me. LOL!

Hey Napptown,

I feel where you are coming from. I have a red microfiber throw blanket. I Love That Thing! I use it all year round. Unfortunately, so do my children. I got it from Sears some time ago. But I've seen them at Target. That may be another option.

Ooooo, that DOES look quite comfy. We teased you pretty badly when you shared your story about the SEXY RED BLANKET at Paulette's Meet and Greet. I feel your pain...but lookin' for a BLACK is probably YOUR BEST BET!

Much love to ya'!

Oh and by the way, I'm going to take the retightening class with Paulette at Locks4Life! Have you already taken your SL class? Do tell...

robin3, thanks for the info. If all else fails I will see if I can find one of the microfiber throws. It will be good to have anyway.

Kecia, I take the class in Aug. I cant wait. I never thought I would do my own hair but now I think I will give it a try and do my own at least every other month. That is what I say now, but we will see. LOL!

It looks like your going to have to get a wrap for your hair to keep the blanket. Cause when you find that right blanket there is no giving it up.

Hey girl,

Hope all is well. Ditch the blanket and get some satin pillow cases.
